As councils across the country battle to get to grips with the growing problem of noise pollution (20 million Brits say they're affected by it), this dramatic, hard-hitting series follows the frontline work of the officers tasked to fight against Britain's nuisance noise makers.

As usual, I really loved working on this project because I analyzed this and then turned the brief into something that made good sense to me musically: a set of key themes. Time, money, waiting, punishment, being undercover and the power of the state. Consequently, the intro theme to the documentary begins with the sound of a ticking clock, kicks in with a deep insistent ominous bass, has engaged phones, phones not being answered, accelerating bleeps to give the idea of waiting towards a point of final confrontation and denouement. Great fun. Again, I will be putting together a CD of all the music that I composed for this film and offering it to you through the website. If you register interest by writing to me, that will push me into making and releasing it. All CDs are released courtesy of Ambion Music.
